Klondike Development Organization would like to invite you to participate in a partnership forum on the subject of technology and innovation. Tuesday, September 2 from 6:30 to 9:00 PM at Yukon College, Dawson Campus.
KDO partnership forums aim to gather different perspectives on a subject in one room to:
– communicate accurate information
– foster new/better understanding
– spark ideas, partnerships, action

Shelagh Rowles, Executive Director, Centre for Northern Innovation in Mining, Yukon College

Eirik Sharp, Technology Innovations Officer, Cold Climate Innovation Centre, Yukon College

Guests will present information about the work they do, any recent learning, any programs that are offered.

Discussing broad questions such as:
What, if any, opportunities exist for our region in terms of innovation (and in what fields?)
Where does rural Yukon fit in a world of innovation and technology?
What steps could Dawson take to become more innovative or to make use of technology?
